Mindy Cohen PT
My work is gentle, educational bodywork that supports babies, children, and adults in developing greater ease, balance, and resilience in their bodies. I integrate craniosacral therapy with resonant kinesiology—an approach that uses movement, light touch, and sound to help the nervous system organize and respond more efficiently. Sessions are tailored to each individual, meeting the body where it is and encouraging self-awareness, adaptability, and natural patterns of coordination.
For infants and children, this work can support growth, development, and regulation by creating a calm, responsive environment. For adults, it offers an opportunity to release unnecessary tension, improve movement patterns, and deepen connection to the body’s innate intelligence. Rather than imposing change, my approach emphasizes listening, learning, and collaboration with the body, empowering clients of all ages to participate actively in their own healing and well-being.
I have been practicing CranioSacral Therapy with babies, children, and adults for over 25 years. My path began after a knee injury and ACL surgery revealed the body’s remarkable capacity to heal. I earned my master’s degree in physical therapy from Regis University in 1996 and discovered CST soon after, which profoundly shifted my personal and professional direction toward integrative, holistic care.
I have been practicing in Burlington, Vermont since 1998 and began a second practice in Crested Butte in 2022. My intention is to help people cultivate empowered, intuitive relationships with themselves, often experiencing meaningful shifts after just one session.
